Tri Montagne is a fully registered and insured French Association.

The club is registered with the Rhone Alpes Triathlon League & French Federation of Triathlon.

Competition Licence Extra Benefits
  • Insurance. Public liability and personal accident insurance cover while you are racing & training in sanctioned events & sessions.
  • Lower Event Entry Cost. A lower cost to enter races because you are exempted from the one day membership fees which non-annual members are required to pay for each race.
Please Note:

Annual membership is per calendar year. Prices per person. Payments to be made by Bank transfer to Tri Montagne.

Tri Montagne club members must also be members of FFTri. FFtri offers junior, competition and leisure licence options.

We recommend taking the FFTri Competition licence if you are entering 3 or more events  for the year as you will save on one day licence fees (this includes triathlons, open water swim events, cycling sportives and fun runs).

The club welcomes non members to join our coached training sessions and offers a season pass and pay as you go options. Please see the Training page for more information. 

Membership Sign Up

To join Tri Montagne please complete all of the following steps.

Your licence can only be submitted to and approved by FFtri when we have received all documents and record of payment.

Step 1: Complete the Tri Montagne form

Step 2: Complete the online FFTri license registration

Step 3: Submit a signed copy of “Demande de Licence” & valid medical certificate to Tri Montagne

Step 4: Make payment by bank transfer to Tri Montagne


Instructions to complete FFTri licences

  1. Go to the website:
  2. Click on ‘Se Licencier’
  3. Enter your personal details, answer the questions asked and choose whether you want any additional insurance.
  4. You need to print your licence application (you can either do this at the end of the process), or you can log in again using the login details they email to you and click on ‘Télécharger ma demande de licence’.
  5. When you have done this, you need to scan & email this to with your medical certificate (model attached to the email from FF Tri that you will have received).
  6. Then you need to make a bank transfer with the payment to Tri Montagne.
  7. We then transfer your licence application to the Ligue des Rhône Alpes/FF Tri who then issue your licence.
